We are extremely proud of the facilities that we offer in all our branches. They represent a significant contribution to the services we provide. We hope that families will find them a calming and private place to discuss the funeral arrangements and will also take comfort from knowing their loved ones are looked after whilst in our care to the very highest of standards. The standard of our facilities is constantly reviewed to ensure the highest quality of care for loved ones entrusted to us.
We are aware, following our many years of experience that the facilities we provide behind the scenes are of equal importance as our public areas. We achieve exceptionally high standards at each of our premises and all our temperature controlled areas meet specifications required by Her Majesty’s Coroner, the Home Office Pathologist and the medical profession. We have highly trained female and male staff dealing with the necessary duties required by the deceased placed in our care.
On entrance to all premises you will be met in the reception area and taken to an arrangement room to sit quietly and select the funeral you require; we can offer sound advice without overwhelming you. All rooms are comfortable and peaceful and have colour schemes and fabrics designed to give a serene and airy atmosphere.
We have dedicated chapels of rest at each of our premises, where families can visit and spend time with their loved one. Not everyone wants to do this; the decision is entirely personal. We try to make this experience as positive as possible and a quiet place for people who wish to say their last goodbyes.
Each of our Chapels are individually designed and beautifully furnished with enormous attention to detail, to achieve a tranquil and comforting environment. We are fortunate to have a talented member of staff who has designed the interiors to an extremely high standard.
The Chapels at Stony Stratford and Newport Pagnell both have an adjacent room to allow bereaved families time and space for quiet reflection and to comfort those visiting the Chapel.
Bletchley has two Chapels of Rest, recently redesigned and refurbished. The larger of the two Chapels can be made available to families wishing to hold smaller, more personal funeral services, with their own choice of Celebrant or Minister. The Chapel can accommodate up to thirty family or friends, seated.
As well as our larger Chapel we have a smaller, more intimate Chapel which is often used by the families of babies or infants.
Families have the choice of which Chapel they prefer when making funeral arrangements.
